Rwida Sawah
Arabisch / EnglischMs. Rwida Sawah was born in Syria and worked as an English teacher in Syria and Saudi Arabia and was one of the initiatives to support those affected by the war in Syria by volunteering in humanitarian work and then she left for Germany and started her journey of study and integration since the beginning of 2016. In 2017, she successfully completed her studies as a psychosocial counselor after joining a humanitarian organization for a one full year in the field of psychosocial counseling. Ms. Sawah worked as a counselor in Erfurt and Suhl .She contributed to supporting newcomers to integrate and overcome the challenges of the transitional phase through the refugee support network and the language school in Ilmenau, where she lived for eight years. Ms. Sawah provided consultations in Arabic and English.

Zohra Wandaa
Farsi / Dari / EnglischZohra Wandaa was born in Afghanistan and earned a Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy and a Diploma in Medical Technology in Afghanistan. She also holds a Master’s degree in Project Management from UK and a second Master’s in Education from US. For almost a decade, she was actively involved in various sectors in Afghanistan, with a particular focus on women's rights, gender equality, civil society, media, and humanitarian and emergency response. Her most recent position in Afghanistan was with (UNOCHA). After moving to Germany, building on her expertise, she pursued advanced training in psychosocial counseling in Germany within her role at Albatros. She is also expanding her knowledge through training programs in neuroscience and positive psychology coaching. She now works with Albatros as a psychosocial counselor and content manager. In this role, she provides counseling in Farsi-Dari and English, offering support to refugees. She is also a member of the German Refugee Advisory Board (GER-RAB), where she advocates for the rights of refugees and contributes to shaping policies that affect refugee communities. George Chibanga
Englisch / BembaMr George Chibanga was born in Mufulira, Zambia. He studied medicine in the Ukraine. After completing his studies, he initially worked as a junior doctor in Ukraine. After the war in Ukraine began in 2022, he came to Germany. Since then, he has worked with refugees from Ukraine, Syria, Africa and other parts of the world, including at the Tegel Arrival Centre. Since January 2024, Mr Chibanga has been working as a psychosocial counsellor in this project. He offers his sessions in English and Bemba.

Olga Kasap
Ukrainisch / Russisch / EnglischPsychologist, specialist in body-oriented psychotherapy and process psychology. Olga Kasap was born in Ukraine and graduated from Kharkiv National University with a degree in psychology. For five years Olga was engaged in psychological counseling in both individual and group formats, while continuing to improve her qualifications and master new methods of psychological practice. With the outbreak of a full-scale war in Ukraine, Olga moved to Germany, where she has been practicing and continuing her professional training ever since. “Each of us faces problems of different scale in our lives and in most cases we cope with them on our own. However, sometimes our own strength is not enough: extraordinary situations take us by surprise, the familiar reality collapses before our eyes and it seems that all efforts are in vain and there are no more solutions left. Jacky Talonto
Französisch/EnglischDr. Jacky Talonto was born and grew up in the Republic of Guinea. First, he studied economics in his home country Guinea for two years before he was sent to Russia as a scholarship holder. There he studied finance in Moscow from 1990 to 1996. Immediately after completing his studies, he came to Germany, where he completed his doctoral studies in economics. In 2007 he was awarded the doctorate of the Social Sciences by the Brandenburg University of Technology (BTU) Cottbus. Following his doctorate, he gained several years of professional experience in the financial and economic sector in both Germany and Guinea. His wish to work in the humanitarian area caused him to complete one -year full -time training as a psychosocial consultant in Germany. The completed further training enabled him to work as a psychosocial consultant since 2017. Dr. Talonto offers its consultations (on site and online) in German, English, French and three other West African languages Maninka, Pular and Susu.

Aysan Ghasempoor
Farsi/Dari/Englisch/Türkisch/AzeriAysan Ghasempoor was born in Iran and completed her studies in Clinical Psychology at the University of Tehran. She then expanded her knowledge by obtaining a master's degree in Clinical Psychology in Iran. Over the years, she has gained valuable experience as a psychologist in various fields, including working as an assistant psychologist in a clinic and as a research assistant in an academic setting. Additionally, she has worked in organizational psychology, applying her expertise in project management, crisis intervention, and psychosocial counseling. Since arriving in Germany, Aysan Ghasempoor has been working as a psychosocial specialist, supporting individuals with a migration background in challenging life situations. She provides counseling and guidance for individuals and groups, using a combination of proven psychological methods and innovative approaches. In addition to her practical work, she has published several scientific articles in ISI-listed journals and has conducted seminars at international conferences. Her research primarily focuses on mental health, self-regulation, and relationship dynamics. "Life often confronts us with unexpected challenges. Some of these we can overcome on our own, while others require professional support. In difficult times, it is important to know that we are not alone. Nematullah Ahmadi
Farsi/Dari/PashtuMr. Nematullah Ahmadi was born in Afghanistan, where he studied medicine and worked as a doctor. Mr. Ahmadi has previously worked as a psychosocial counselor, supervisor, and technical deputy project leader for a psychosocial counseling project with CARITAS Germany, and later with the organizations Window for Life (WFL) and Tabesh in Afghanistan. From 2011 to 2021, he was a trainer in psychosocial counseling and mental health at Ipso across Afghanistan and served as the project coordinator for the psychosocial counseling project at Ipso. He is currently working as a psychosocial counselor in Dari/Farsi and Pashto for refugees at Albatros Beratungszentrum Brandenburg from March 2023 to the present.
