As part of our health advice service, we inform people who have recently arrived in Germany and are native speakers about the structure of the German healthcare system, access to the healthcare system, existing legal entitlements and various health-related topics such as vaccination information and preventative care.
Bahar Hassantabar
Farsi / EnglishMs. Bahar Hassantabar was born in Iran and has studied midwifery, obtaining a master's degree at Tehran University of Medical Sciences. She has worked as a midwife in clinical settings and established the first breastfeeding support clinic in Tehran. Additionally, she has experience as a childbirth educator and prenatal instructor in both Iran and Canada. Since 2022, she has been residing in Berlin, where she commenced her studies in international and public health. Ms. Hassantabar joined Albatros in March 2024, offering counseling services in health and wellness areas in both Farsi and English.
